Our dynamic Chicago-based violin and piano duo
delivers stunning live music tailored to your event.

Cheryl and Renee did an amazing job with the music for our wedding! Not only did they play beautifully but they also helped us pick out music that matched our vision perfectly. And though there were some obstacles (a long aisle to walk down, some light rain, and flower girls that didn't quite make it down the aisle😅), they made adjustments accordingly and never missed a beat! We highly recommend these professional and trustworthy musicians!Jori V., Bride

Cheryl’s church experience includes accompanying soloists and choirs, service music for congregational singing, and piano/organ solos. In addition to her service in her home church, Cheryl freelances in the Chicago area. She appreciates various genres of music, and enjoys composing and arranging music. In 2005 she began a unique partnership with violinist Renée Hale, providing new opportunities to perform, record, and compose/arrange music. In 2012 the partnership became Stringsong.Considering her lifelong devotion to music, Cheryl says, “Every stage is a preparation for what God has for us next…”

My son was getting married in downtown Chicago, so we wanted music that was both Christian and as classy as the setting. It was absolutely beautiful, and everyone was commenting on how wonderful it was!Julie V., Mother of the Groom

Stringsong provided beautiful and worshipful music to welcome our guests at our ministry’s banquet. During the dinner Stringsong’s music created a comforting and engaging presence, which complemented our banquet’s evening of testimony and thanksgiving.Sheltered91 Board Member

Listen to Stringsong

As the sound engineer who worked on the Stringsong recordings, I have to say that these releases are among my favorites. Cheryl and Renée are musicians that play with a perfect combination of technique and emotion. Working in the studio with them was a pleasure. I’m very proud to have my name associated with these recordings.John Carpenter, Thunderclap Recording Studio
