Stringsong Happenings

Stringsong has been back at it this week. On Sunday, July 7 we lead worship at First Presbyterian Church, Hammond, IN with I Will Praise Him! and Be Thou My Vision. Then on Monday, July 8 we enjoyed an excellent recording session at Thunderclap Recording Studio in Hammond. What Wondrous Love is This and O The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus are dramatic arrangements that we look forward to sharing with you! They bring us to the penultimate point in the King of Love project: just one more selection to record and we will be ready to mix, master and print. We’re looking forward to our final piece, Come Thou Fount, arranged by our very own Cheryl Kapteyn!

Stringsong: Worship Music Today

Beautiful sunshine and beautiful liturgy this morning at First Presbyterian Church of Hammond, Indiana. “Rejoice the Lord is King” and an early American, Copland-ish style “How Firm a Foundation” were a joy to contribute to the service!First Presbyterian Church, Hammond
